We've been really quiet
the last few months (haven't had a live show in nearly a month as well) and this is because we've been spending all our time
writing new songs and working on recording for our new album. The songs we're recording now have been in the works for
several years now ever since we finished Celtic Rainbow in 2009, and we can't wait for you to hear the new sound. However,
for now here is a little glimpse into the behind-the-scenes work going on in the recording studio and in the writing process. Enjoy!

Looking back on what
a great year 2010 was, I decided to make a video highlighting some of the places we went and the people we met this year.
It's a fun little video (8 minutes) that is a behind-the-scenes look at what our year was like touring the fairs and performing
together as a sister group.
I hope you enjoy the video - it was lots of fun for me to go back and remember everything
that happened this year, from the Notre Dame University halftime to 10 days in York, PA, to First Night in the Tri-Cities.

It is time to start
anew. With a new list.
And a makeshift office on the couch. We've been working on a new video covering
everything and everywhere we went last year, but it is hard to fit it all into a ten minute video. Meanwhile, we're trying
to line up our performance schedule for the Summer. If you know a place that we should perform, email me at thegothardsisters@hotmail.com
and I'll do my best to get us there! :-)

Happy New Year, everyone!
We just got back from a road trip over the mountains listening to all our favorite "travel music" (a mix of all our favorite
Celtic/Folk/Celtic Rock music) all the way out to the Tri-Cities for our fourth year at First Night Tri-Cities.
The
pass was completely clear so we didn't have any trouble getting over there, luckily. And the pass is a gorgeous drive.
Take a look:
Ready to ring in the New Year: 2011 is here! What will this new
year bring? I have no idea. Hopefully lots of performance opportunities and plenty of new music. (We will
be recording a new Celtic CD very soon and have lots of new ideas!)
We did two shows on New Year's eve in the gymnasium, and afterwards we
got to meet a lot of the people in the audience! Here are some of the pictures:
This year we got to share the stage with another sister group, who you
may have seen in the top 10 finals of America's Got Talent last year. The two sisters are Christina and Ali, and they
are from Idaho, so they drove out to perform at this show as well. They are the sweetest, friendliest girls and really
talented, too! So we had a lot of fun talking with them at dinner and backstage. Check them out at www.christinaandali.com .
We had a great time ringing in the New Year, and now it is back
to practicing, coming up with new numbers for St. Pat's shows and recording! Hope your New Year is excellent!

This Christmas we've
been joining electric rock violinist Geoffrey Castle for his shows, and we did one last Saturday which had a really cool light
show going on behind us. Here are some photos and a video of the sound check:
