Here
is a cute little clip of our concert in Edmonds, WA last month. We have a lot of little dancers helping us out in the
front!

Thank you, Bonney Lake! We had lots of fun at this community festival
in Bonney Lake yesterday, here is a picture. Everyone was very friendly and we got to perform right before rising Christian
artist Chris August, who was a very nice person and great songwriter.

We just got back from our tour
yesterday and have been spending our time unpacking and getting ready for our Autumn schedule.
Our last stop on the tour was Montana, where we performed at two different fairs, first in Glasgow and then
in Glendive. The weather was hot, but the people were very friendly and we had a great time!
We met some other performers in Glasgow, two magicians from Canada called "Double Vision." They are twins and
they talk at the same time. It is kind of fascinating.
In Glendive, we had some time off and got to perform at the local senior center and Veteran's home in the morning
before our shows, which was awesome. A lot of the residents there ended up coming to see our shows later on in the week.
On the last day Connie (at the Glendive fair) surprised us with Meet and Greet passes to meet Jason Michael
Carroll backstage before his grandstand show. That was awesome, and he is a really nice person with an AMAZING voice.
Next up- Bonney Lake days and the Independence Riverview Ampitheater!

Our next stop on the
tour was the Wisconsin state fair, one of the biggest fairs that we have performed at so far. There were 30 stages full
of entertainment and thousands of people walking around the grounds enjoying the cheese curds and cream puffs.
We were on the International dance stage, a little oasis near some food booths where people could sit down to eat
and watch a show.
We also got to share the stage with another family fiddle group, the Kid Fiddlers from Las Vegas, and we had a
great time swapping stories and talking about life on the road as a family.
Here are some more photos from the Wisconsin state fair:
It was lots of fun, we met a lot of interesting people from Milwaukee (note: the locals say it like MUL-waukee, not
MIL-waukee.) and can't wait to come back and visit again. Next stop, the big sky state of Montana!

This tour is going by
so fast! We just finished our run at the Porter County Fair, which was great, as usual. We met a lot of new people,
and saw a lot of old friends as well.
It was still hot, but we arrived at the fair in a complete downpour and had to unpack the car in the rain and got
completely soaked.
Our friends Larry and Neil were running our sound, and by the end of the week they were also doing all kinds of fancy things
with the lights and stuff, which was awesome. So a big thanks to them, they made us look good!
We also got to share the stage with a really nice lady ventriloquist and her husband, and they had a really cute puppet named
Smolder. Here he is, hehe!
We got to watch the horse drill teams, as well as some barrell racing, and finally got to see the Swifty Swine
pig races that our friends run.
When we weren't performing we stocked up the fridge in the hotel room with supplies for PB&J sandwhiches and
pickles, plus plenty of water because it was so hot!
Here are some pictures of us with new friends we met at the fair:
Now we're on our way out to Wisconsin for the Wisconsin state fair. See you after the shows!

We made it successfully
to Indiana yesterday for the first stop on our tour this Summer. To start off the day we were up bright and early for
a little show in an outdoors tent for Senior Citizens' day. Then we did our main show which was lots of fun! It
was really hot outside (to us, but the people who live here said it was only mild, oh boy!)
Afterwards we got to meet a lot of people, some new people and a lot of familiar faces from our previous years in
Indiana, including our sound guy from South Bend last year (shout-out to Rick!)
We also got to go on the ferris wheel, which we don't get to do very often, believe it or not. Even though we perform at
a lot of fairs, we very rarely have enough time to try out the rides, so this was really fun!
Next up - Valparaiso for the Porter County Fair!
P.S. are you following us on twitter? Those will be the most frequent updates and behind-the-scenes photos. ;-)

Had a great time at the
Renton River Days festival yesterday, here are some pictures! Once again, we were joined by a lot of great dancers at
the front of the stage. ;-)
Heading off to check out a restaurant called the "Celtic
Bayou" (Irish pub and Cajun food, my dad says it is his dream restaurant.) Unfortunately, it wasn't open yet so we went
somewhere else, but I'm definitely going to have to check that one out.
Today we are packing up for our Summer tour 2010!
It's going to be awesome and so much fun to see a lot of people we met last year and meet lots of new friends. I'll
try to post pictures and updates as we go. :-) -Greta

I've added a new page
to the navigation bar that gives information on where you can take dance classes in the Washington/Oregon area. All of the schools listed are nationally known schools with great teachers
(many of them friends, teachers or mentors for us.) So if you have always wanted to take Irish dancing, sign up for
classes today! They are really fun and a great workout. ;-)
Yesterday we performed at the Edmonds Concert
in the Park series, which was great because it was a full circle for us. We used to attend this concert series when
were little kids and never dreamed that we would be included in the lineup one of these days! There was a huge crowd
there and it was a fun show. Here are some pictures:
Plus, we had an adorable group of dancers helping us out
by the end in the front of the stage! Check it out:
We also got to throw Willow a little surprise party with
some friends (that she completely wasn't expecting) to celebrate her 21st birthday.

Yesterday we performed
at the waterfront in Kirkland as part of their summer concert series for several hundred kids and their parents. The
place was beautiful since it was right by the water:
In a little gazebo (with a nice sound system run by two awesome guys,
Chris and Chris!)
and we got some new name suggestions for the "unnamed song," including
"thunder," "different worlds," and "flower song." Afterwards we met a lot of the kids and their parents. There were
a lot of aspiring dancers and violinists in the audience - who knows which member of the audience will be the next performing
group at the Kirkland Concert Series!
We had a great time and are now revving up to our show in Edmonds
at City park. If you would like to come to that show, check out the details on the schedule page.

really good time in DuBois thanks to all of the really nice people who came to see our shows. Thanks for coming out,
and we hope to see you again in the near future!

of their Gothard Sisters stickers, hehe:

We had a really long
travel day yesterday, starting in Seattle at 12:45 AM and then jumping on planes for the rest of the day. We finally
rolled into the town of DuBois, PA at around 7:30 PM and had to get all set up for a show at 9:00. We were pretty
tired, but it was such a fun show because the people here are so nice and appreciative. Here is a little photo of our
show last night (sorry it is so blurry):
Heading off to get some lunch and then two more shows this
afternoon. Have a great day!

Today we drove to Pasco
for our New Year's show and the amazing people that put on the event every year invited us to dinner with them. At the
end of the dinner they surprised us with three "Spirit Award" plaques out of appreciation for our third year performing at
their show! It was so nice, we were really touched.
Here is a picture of us with our awards and all the people
in the New Year's Tri-Cities committee:
