What you need for this hairstyle:
A rubber band
Make a ponytail, leaving a large amount of hair out on either
Tip: Only leave out hair on the sides, and not on the bottom of the ponytail.
Put a rubber band around the ponytail!
Twist the ponytail, and wrap it around the rubber band to
make a bun.
Secure the bun with bobby pins.
Tip: To make it look tidy, try and keep any hair from sticking out in the wrong direction!
Brush the hair left out on the sides.
Tip: Get the hair slightly wet by dipping the brush into some water before using it. This will make it look
shiny and smooth when twisted up.
Take the bunch of hair on the right, and twist it up.
Tip: Twist this hair on the right side to the left.
Bring the twisted hair up and over the bun, and down around
the other side. Bobby pin it to the bun.
Repeat on the left side:
Twist the remaining hair to the right, and bring it up over
the bun and down the other side. Bobby pin it to the bun.
Ooooh La La!
Complete the hairstyle by pinning a pretty flower
somewhere on the side of the bun.
(Fake doll-sized flowers can be found at craft stores.)
Tip: If you're feeling artistic, pin some more flowers to the bun. Or some feathers, ribbon, or strings
of pearls.... be creative!
