One brick of green sculpey clay

A knife

Take a thumbnail-sized chunk of orange clay and roll it into a ball, using your fingers.

You can also make it into a ball by placing it on a table and rolling your flat hand across it in a circular motion.

Roll one half of the ball out into a cone shape, forming the bottom of the carrot.

Flatten the other end.

Roll out a very thin length of green clay.

Cut a piece off the end, and flatten it with your fingers.

Put this piece of green on the flat end of the carrot, making it stick up like the carrot's leaves.

Using a knife, cut grooves in the orange part of the carrot so that it looks more realistic.

The finished carrot reaches from my thumbtip to around the knuckle.

Lots of yummy carrots!  Enjoy!
