For eggplants you will need two colors of clay, one purple and one dark green.

Make the purple clay into small oval-shaped balls, about the size of your thumbnail.

Roll out some green to make the stalk.

Cutting off two small lengths of the green roll, form a cross with them, then lower one end of the eggplant onto it, forming a stalk.

Roll out a small ball of green.

Flatten the ball with your thumb.

Using the tips of your fingers, lengthen one end of the circle to make a leaf.

Add the leaf to the crossed stalk at the top of the eggplant.

Cover a baking sheet with waxed paper and bake at 215 degrees for 15 minutes. 

Remove when cooked and let sit for a while before using in your
Doll Recipes!
