Start out with a small length of light pink or off-white clay.

Starting at the bottom of the blade, cut a groove into the length while rolling it away from you. 

The blade should cut a nice groove that travels all the way up the length while you roll.

Curve the length so the cuts open slightly.

Make a little fish tail out of some more clay, and firmly attach it to the end.

Bake the shrimp for 15 minutes at 215 degrees on a cookie sheet covered with wax paper.  Remove and let cool before using.
