3 pinches salt
3 pinches oregano
Wash the tomatoes and discard any damaged ones.
Heat a large pot of water until it boils.
Drop the tomatoes into the pot and cook until they are mushy.
Add the salt and oregano and stir.
Remove the sauce from the fire...
...and store under a hat in a cool, dark place, such as
the upstairs bedroom.
Make sure to leave a little part uncovered so it can breathe.
Warm sauce on the fire before serving on top of any dish.
The tomato sauce is especially good on noodles.
