This
dress was made for Cristal when it was the height of fashion to have a dress with a matching skirt and hat.
The skirt is made out of a very elegant beige silk fabric
with asian floral designs on it. The pinks in the flowers on the skirt match the pink of the blouse, which has cotton
backing in the bodice, but see-through sleeves, which are fashionably puffed.
Of course, Cristal had to add her own personal touch onto
her blouse and sewed pearls onto the sleeve cuffs, neckline, and all over the hat.

The hat is made to match and is very beautiful.
The
fabric of the skirt is glued onto the hat shape, and adorned with hot pink ribbon tied in a bow around the back, pearls on
the top and middle of the hat, lace around the middle, and loops of draped pearls all the way around the brim, causing it
to, in Cristal's words, "positively drip with pearls."
