Name of Dress:  Pink Dirndle
Made by:  Willow Gothard
Made for:  Britta Larson
Made with: pink plaid quilting fabric, off-white hand-made lace, yarn

This dirndle was Christmas present from Britta's mother, and since it is pink it's the dress that Britta usually chooses to wear when she's going somewhere fashionable, like a party or a sewing circle.

Since it is a dirndle, it is meant to be worn over a white blouse or shirt.  It closes in the back with some velcro, and has a fancy pretend lace-up front on the bodice.
Mrs. Larson used some bright pink ribbon for this, and added a little bit of hand-made lace to the bodice to make it look even fancier.

The fabric is a very pretty pink plaid cotton that Mrs. Larson bought at the Merriman's general store.

The skirt is decorated with hand-made lace, as well as another cotton eyelet lace to make it look even more cute.
