After she'd finished with nightgowns for all of her daughters,
Lara finally sat down to make herself something to wear to bed.
This is made out of very comfy muslin.
The bodice piece is very complicated for a nightgown.
The fabric is first sewn with criss-crossing blue thread lines to make the patterned look.
Then there is also
a collar lined with lace, and a small dip pattern in the front that is also lined with lace.
The sleeves also have sections of criss-crossed fabric near
the end, and are finished off by some more lace for decoration.
