Hi  everybody!

Wow, things have been craaaazy lately.  Right now we are getting a scene ready for the movie.  We are racing to get all of the movie scenes done before christmas, plus doing all sorts of gigs, and working on christmas presents!  The movie is going to be really neat, we are planning on arranging our own soundtrack for it!  The movie will be coming out later than January, because we have a lot of work still to do on it before it's ready to be released.

We got our christmas tree last night!  I love the smell of fresh greenery this time of year.

Well, I have to go; Willow just told me I have to get in the shower NOW! Hehe....(We have to leave for a gig in about an hour.)

ttyl,

Solana

Getting ready to leave

Hello there!

Well, right now our promotional DVD is playing over and over on the TV, because we are testing 92 of them because they need to be in promotional kits by tomorrow.  We are leaving for Las Vegas tomorrow to stand around at the biggest fair convention of the year!

We are going to do some more scenes today for the movie too. We already have 11 hours of footage, and we are all making bets on how many tapes we are going to use for this film! =)

My dad is making pancakes right now! Mmmmm..... and remember to get started on that Christmas photo for the contest!

Hello there!

Well things have been extremely busy lately.  I actually like having a lot of stuff to do, so that's fine with me. =)

We are going to start decorating the Parkington's for christmas today, hooray!!  We've been waiting for Greta to finish wallpapering Teresa and Elizabeth's rooms, and she should be able to finish that up this morning.  The Parkington's have plans to go down to the Larson farm this afternoon to pick up nine of the best christmas trees.  Everyone else is decorated for christmas except for the Montoyas.  I can't wait for you guys to see picture's of the houses!

I just worked on christmas presents yesterday, and I'm hoping to work on them some more today as well as filming some more scenes for the movie.

My dad is starting to work on the Pleasantville Bank.  YES!  I'm really excited because there are going to be pillars and everything.  He's hoping to finish by christmas!

I looked at our schedule for December the other day, and I'm really glad that we are starting christmas things so early, because pretty much on every day before christmas we have a gig somewhere!

Well, talk to ya'll later!

Now Playing: Mannheim Steamroller

Hey!

Well stuff has been pretty busy lately, we are doing 2-3 scenes of the new movie every day.  I'm so excited for it!!

I have been so busy in the past weeks that I can really only work on Christmas presents on the weekend so I am trying to work on them as much as I can in between orchestra and stuff that has been going on this weekend.

Everyone in Pleasantville is preparing for winter.  Suzanne and Cristal already have their Christmas trees up, and Suzanne just finished baking a batch of pink frosted gingerbread cookies.  The two friends have constantly been checking the "Pleasantville Lady" to make sure that they are the most fashionable in town. =)

Clara has decorated her shop and now she is selling all  kinds of Christmas sweets.  The most popular sweet is the spiced gumdrop which all of the ladies like to buy for calling hour.

The Larsons have also decorated their tree.  I think the Larson's christmas tree is my favorite because it reminds me of my family's tree. The tree has no real color scheme and is covered in all sorts of ornaments, and looks really colorful.

Well, that's it for now! See you next week,

Solana

Christmas presents
Now Playing: My dad on the phone.

Hullo!!!!

Well, right now in Pleasantville the latest "Pleasantville Lady" has been released, and Cristal and Lisa both bought compies as soon as the newspaper was done being printed.  This issue is all about decorating for Christmas and fashionable christmas traditions to do.

We would have recorded a nafycast on saturday, but the nafycast subscription sight isn't working because, Greta has to renew her subscription or something, so the next nafycast will probably be delayed a bit.

Peder and Britta have the shivers right now because they both fell into the waterfall, so Josefina is at their house giving them hot baths.

The men just had a poker party at the Grumpy troll a few nights ago, and John won one game and Tomas and Andres won all of the other ones. =)

I am going to work on a lot of Christmas presents this afternoon ,because Greta and Willow will be out of the house at a chamber music workshop for five hours! Hehehe...... ;)

You might be wondering, "Why are you getting ready for Christmas already?" The reason is that pretty much when December hits we won't be around the house very much, because we play for a lot of Christmas parties in December and things, so that's why we are plunging into Christmas already. =)

We also are thinking about starting to work on a new CD too, so that should be fun.

Well, talk to you all later!

Christmas is coming!!!
Hello!!!!!

Yes! It is officially OK to start listening to Christmas music! Yay!!!

I can't wait to start setting up all of the doll Christmas trees. Today is Teresa Berg's birthday. =) She is celebrating today by playing dolls and helping Louisa bake her birthday cake.

We just got back late last night from Ocean Shores, and so I slept in pretty late, lol.
This summer was really hectic and we were not at home very much, so now is the time that all of us have been waiting for. Because, there is a good sized break between now and December, that we can really work on things in Pleasantville.
I'm soooo excited!!!!
Willow and Nafy are working on editing Nafy's next blog right now which should be up on youtube sometime this week.
Well, that's it for now!
See ya'll next week!

Hello!

I just finished eating breakfast, and I am going to write my blog before we record a new nafycast. =)

The Masked Ball is finished!  It was a great success and everything went perfect, except that Suzanne now has a bad case of poison ivy.  There was a poison ivy plant at the ball, and now Suzanne is worried that other people in Pleasantville may have touched the plant.

The Larson's farm endured a tornado while they were at the ball, so they are working on cleaning up the farm, and preparing for winter.

Well, I'll talk to you all next week!

Happy early Halloween!

Getting ready for the Masked Ball

Hellooooooo!

I just finished making 22 lemons along with 41 carrots and a lot more doll food.  The reason for this is because Mrs. Wickon is making 52 dishes of food for her banquet at the Masked Ball.  Luckily the food stand did have 303 tomatos and 328 onions, so I didn't have to make any.  Can you tell that Suzanne likes Italian cooking? ;)

Now that all the food is made Suzanne is going to start cooking.  This year instead of a Chinese theme, the banquet is going Dutch.  Mrs. Wickon has ordered many cartons of Karnemelk and other Dutch specialities for the occasion.

Samantha and Felicity are doing a mad dash right now, to finish their new ballgowns in two days.  (They started yesterday).

Unfortunitaly, Suzanne and Cristal had an arguement last night.  Cristal said that Polly should dress up as a sockhopping Gramma.  Suzanne replied,"Ohhh..... so what is Kathrine dressing up as, a SKUNK??"  They said that they would never ever speek to each other again, but everyone in Pleasantville knows that this is just an everyday normality. =)

Well, Adios!!

I'm in Georgia!!
Now Playing: Nickle Creek- "This Side"

Hi there!

I'm in Georgia right now, and it is very humid and hot!!!!

We are doing some shows here, at the Georgia National Fair for five days.  The people here are really nice and doing shows here has been a blast. =)

We've been eating at Cracker Barrel a lot lately, and there is this really fun game on each table to play while you wait for your food.  We are planning on making a mini one for the Larson's.

I'm really excited about the masked ball when we get back; there is a lot that needs to be done first but the outcome is always worth it. =)

Well, ttyl!

Fall has arrived!
Mood:  hungry
Now Playing: Silence

Hello, hello, hello!!!

My, my it's been a while.  Lots of fun stuff has happened lately!

First of all Nafy just shot her second video blog, and she is going to start editing it as soon as she can.  Yay!  I love Nafy's blogs!

Lisa got her ballgown in the mail today from Miss Cristal's Fashions.  She was incredibly excited and kept pestering Laura to do the mail so that she could get her package.  It's gorgeous!  It's all black with a large bow at the shoulder and various ruffles and beads all over the place.  It came with a fashionable black silk handbag that ties around the wrist.  Lisa spent a long time gazing at herself in the mirror, and it took a lot of effort to take the dress off when she needed to return to work.

Clara is all ready for fall!  Her sweetshop is completely decorated, and there are ghosts and spiders and jack 'O lanterns all over her shop.  The smells of fresh caramel apples and pumpkin pies are wafting all around town square, enticing costumers to stop inside her shop.

The taxes for the town are due this month and everyone is getting out their checkbooks and sending off massive amounts of money to the Parkingtons.

Josefina has a slight cold, but Ana is fixing her up and right now she's steaming in a hot bath with Heather giving her a back massage.  That sounds pretty good right now!

The Larsons and the Atonmys are getting ready for the winter, stacking their firewood piles and their hay, and making sure that their houses (and teepees), are going to stand up all through the winter.

That's pretty much it for Pleasantville!  Everyone is getting out their fall decorations, jumping in piles of leaves, and getting ready for the Masked Ball.

I have a cold right now. =( Kleenex has become my best friend lately. Not.  I've been doing a lot of school work to get ready for my upcoming home school test, and I just got my music for orchestra, so I've been working on that too.

We just got back from Wisconsin two days ago!  I really enjoyed doing some shows out there even though we were just there for one day.  Now we are working on getting our shows ready for Georgia , and planning our next CD's.

Right now my mom is reading a book on the couch, Willow's working on Cristal's new ball gown, and Greta's updating the website.

That's it for now! ttfn,

Solana
