Cleaning has commensed as of yesterday because we have guests coming over this friday. That means Pleasantville is in need of some serious cleaning. Solana and I cleaned the Montoya's house yesterday, (well, actually Ana and Francisca did) because it was a DISTASTER. I have no idea how it got that messy. The last thing they did was have a little party to celebrate it being a year since Ana and Tomas arrived, and Nafy and William happened to be coming along the road, so they joined in at the end for the salsa dancing.
Anyway, the're all cleaned up now and all Francisca can talk about is how pretty she thinks she looks in Clara's shawl. All Ana can talk about is how she thinks it is dreadful that Mama let the house get horribly messy. When you get Francisca and Ana together you can usually count on a lot of complaining and pestering of other people. :-P
The sisters and I went on an early bike ride this morning even though it was raining. It was really refreshing except that my hands got freezing cold and the route we took was sort of strange. It started out with a huge steep hill that we had to walk the bikes up (definitely a workout!) and then we pretty much coasted the rest of the way back to the house since it was mostly downhil the rest of the way. Tomorrow we'll have to experiment with how to make it more effective.
